STONEHENGE

Today's adventure was Stonehenge!! It's actually very close to Southampton especially since the train station is literally five steps away from our flat. We hopped on a train to Salisbury which is only 30 minutes from here. At the Salisbury train station we caught a double decker tour bus that brings you to Southampton. Gabel and I managed to get seats on the top right at the front so we had the most spectacular views on the way there. The bus took us all through Salisbury which has quite a history to it and the city has made efforts to preserve all the original buildings. Salisbury also has the fourth highest cathedral in the world. Stonehenge was truly a unique experience. On top of that we had great weather. The sun came out and you could literally see the sun rays shining down onto the stones. I had a wonderful experience there and definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to the UK. Here's some pics from the day:
